One fun way of stretching a dollar is getting things for free.  Perhaps this is why people are always so inclined to enter contests in an effort to win something instead of saving their money and buying that object at a later date.

Like our adventurous friend on the left most of us lust after adventure but not all of us are that dare devilish.  Buying a lotto ticket or entering Publisher’s Clearinghouse Sweepstakes gives those of us who are not quite so daring the feeling of living on the edge or doing something risky.

The sheer mania that rocks the country when the Mega Lotto starts hitting the 9 figure range is a good example of how competitive we get when bit by the contest bug.

It happened to me just this week.  Reading my email a few days ago I came across a new contest called ContestBurner which offers a myriad of enticing prizes designed specifically to peak the interest of an aspiring blogger/internet marketer.  Sure enough, I was bitten.

How can I pass up a contest that offers me the possibility of having the Dreamteam (expert computer programs and marketers) set up and promote money making web sites on my behalf?  Not to mention the chance to win a cash prize?

I couldn’t pass it up .. maybe you can.  If you want to take the risk of being bit by that bug.. read more about it at ContestBurner.com
