How many of you can remember your folks telling you that you needed to take part of your first paycheck and put it in a savings account?  I can and I remember telling my daughter and grandson the same thing.  Starting now is more important that starting big.  Stacy Johnson of Money Talks says the same thing in this weeks video.

I was told all my life that is no such thing as a free lunch but I just don’t buy that philosopy.  By keeping an eye out for coupons and specials (online and in the newspapers) you can often get a free lunch (buy one get one deals) or at least save half the cost by splitting the cost of the meal with a friend!

I recently came across a good site about finding bargains: Northern Cheapskate.  This month (October) Alice is offering some great free samples when you order something else.

I like getting something extra with my regular purchases.
